Food, clothes and shelter are the basic needs of a person. People can live without shelter .People can live without proper clothes during winter but a person without food cannot survive long. We all as well-nourished people should fell privileged .Millions of people across the  globe are malnourished .In our country India there are almost 195million people go hungry every day. Every year in India 40% of the food is wasted of the total food produced . The main causes are usually due to wastage, unemployment, climate change and natural disaster such as floods . Then this malnourishment takes place as a disease .The thing is that hunger kills more people than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combine globally. Most food which is wasted are from weddings just think there is a better way to utilize that food there are people in our country who can utilize it in a better way .Lets not pile our plates with food and not be able to eat it .The clean food which is untouched goes into the municipality garbage truck and from there it goes to the landfills and forms methane gas. A child in India today knows that methane gas is deadly for our environment ,overall the extra food that we throw away is deadly for us .The journey that we started with hungry is not something which we started for the society our great-grandfather Mahatma Gandhi these were the people who started with this journey. So, let's carry this journey forward for our future generation .And let's start to contribute for this cause .If you are a student start volunteering with certain programs which focus on donating food and we will surely make change.
